Established in 1987, Central Florida Woodturners is an organization created to provide local woodturners with woodturning demonstrations, information, and ongoing education while sharing in a social and interactive environment.
Central Florida Woodturners meet monthly and host a variety of special events throughout the year, including making ornaments for a very special Christmas tree at the Orlando Museum of Art’s “Festival of Trees” each year. The trees are auctioned and the proceeds are donated to various charities.
The Central Florida Wood Turners and the AAW also support the Beads of Courage program. The CFWT contributions are managed locally working with local children’s hospitals.
Also: The Florida Woodturning Symposium is back (February 18-20) and at a new location.
